In our Little Tiger class, we introduce our youngest students to stretching, strengthening, and coordination exercises.  The children will learn essential and age-appropriate Taekwondo techniques, in a relaxed, fun and caring environment, tailored to prepare them for a more structured Children's Program by age 5 or 6.

Little Tigers

Respect is essential for martial arts practitioners.  Our Little Tigers are taught to respect themselves and each other through examples and positive role models.

Our Curriculum is dynamic and rich. We use repetition and timely progression to maximize instruction. Our curriculum includes:

  • Yoga Stretching

  • Fun Exercises

  • Obstacle Courses

  • Taekwondo Techniques

  • Tumbling & Break Falling

  • Fun Group Games

Our goal with our Little Tigers is to instill a love for physical exercise and Taekwondo learning in an environment that promotes self-esteem with a "Yes, I Can" positive attitude.

Fun Games serve as powerful teaching tools in our young program.  Through group game play, children will exercise, improve coordination and learn rules, not to mention the fun we all have playing them.

Advancement happens at different rates for each one of us.  We respect every student's unique abilities and encourage them to continue to improve their techniques at their own pace.  Little Tigers progress through their own six levels of belt ranks.
